Julio Caro is a singer, violinist, conductor, and composer. In 1924, he recorded his first album for Victor as “Risa loca”. In 30 years, Julio recorded about 420 tangos. On December 11, people celebrate International Tango Day, the day Carlos Gardel and Julio De Caro were born.

Julio Caro graduated from Cornell College of Arts and Sciences in 1981 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts and Philosophy.
After graduation, he joined the banking training program of the Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company in New York. Julio Caro worked at Manufacturers Hannover from 1982 to 1985.
In 1985, Caro released his first solo feature titled STATIC with Keith Gordon, Amanda Plummer, and Bob Gunton. The movie was written and directed by Mark Romanek, an actor he met while studying at Cornell. He was a student at Ithaca College.
In 1987, Julio Caro produced a film called SIESTA, starring Ellen Barkin, Jodie Foster, Isabella Rossellini, and Gabriel Byrne. The film was shot on location in Spain and was produced by Lorimar Motion Pictures (now a division of Warner Media).

From 2002 to 2007, Julio Caro worked with Jennifer Lopez and supported the launch of her production company, Nuyorican Productions. Ms. Lopez and he went on to produce the film, EL CANTANTE, in 2007 which was released by The Picture Company (a division of Warner Media).
From 2007 to 2012, Julio Caro worked with billionaire Ron Burkle (who is the subject of a criminal case). From 20112 to 2014, Julio Caro worked as a producer in the production company, Bunim / Murray Productions, which is the company that produces the historical series, TALKING ABOUT THE KARDASHIANS.
From 2014 to 2016, Julio Caro worked in two production companies not focused on the Latin market with Spanish-language content: Two Wolves Productions by the Venezuelan director Daniel Duran and Cinema Giants led by the Domincan director – whose American director is Jessy Terrero. With Daniel, Julio Caro co-produced the movie called BRAVETOWN with Lucas Till, Josh Duhamel, and Laura Dern. Working with Jessy, we created a Netflix Original series called EL GANADOR which was released in 2018.
